Located in the gated community of Playacar Phase II, Villa Estefania neighbors the XamanHa Aviary, a natural bird sanctuary. Both beach and Playa del Carmen downtown with its famous Fifth Avenue lined with shops, bars, and restaurants are only a casual stroll away.
It was built in 2003 and remodeled in 2006. Three of the bedrooms have king-sized beds. The fourth bedroom has two queen-sized beds, perfect for children or simply friends who are traveling together. A full-sized sofa bed in the reading area provides for extra sleeping. All bedrooms have their own private bathrooms, and there is a full-sized bath for the extras. One of the master suites has a traditional Mexican brick dome ceiling, intriguing for any guest to marvel at its unique craftsmanship.
Mexican tile is used throughout the house. The mahogany stairway with a wrought iron hand railing leads to the upstairs lobby. The wooden rooftop deck gives you a great overview of the area. The home is fully air-conditioned with remote-controlled regulators.
The kitchen is outfitted with granite countertops and all amenities including a 5 burner gas stove and dishwasher. The mahogany cupboards are stocked with place settings and a wide selection of cookware. A formal dining table seats eight with an additional outdoor table seating six. The kitchen island is over-looking the covered patio and private swimming pool with a deeper section for total submersion and a shallow section ideal for children. The palapa behind the pool provides shade during the hottest afternoon hours.
